Vacancy International Business Developer (Senior)

Our business is growing rapidly, and LipoCoat needs a skilled Business Developer to acquire and manage new client relationships and projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, as well as skills related to strategic analysis and marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing relationships with our clients, negotiating contracts, closing deals and monitoring the product development pipeline. We will rely on you to partner with our R&D department. We expect you to write a detailed business development plan, and execute accordingly. International travel is required for this position.


  • Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and equipment needs
  • Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
  • Partner with R&D to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
  • Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
  • Liaise with client and R&D teams to ensure contracted product specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
  • Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
  • Plan and organise relevant venues and trade shows
  • Report to the management board


  • Master’s or PhD degree
  • Equivalent work experience (min. 7 years) in related life science / biotech field: medical device, (Bio) medical coatings, lab and/or pharma production equipment
  • Demonstrated achievement in B2B R&D related sales
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English), including facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Advanced understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose technology-platform based solutions for client
