Alain le Loux is CFO and angel investor at Lipocoat. Alongside this role, he is General Partner at Cottonwood Technology Fund, a transatlantic early-stage deep tech venture capital fund investing in patent-based hardware innovations across quantum, photonics, advanced materials, nanotechnology, sensor technology, clean tech and medical technology. Since 2014 he has backed disruptive, IP-first startups across Northern Europe and the Southwest USA, and sits on the boards of companies including Keiron, Q*BIRD, Orange Quantum Systems and SmartNanotubes Technologies.
Alain holds a double Master's degree in Computer Science and Industrial Engineering & Management from the University of Twente and an Executive MBA from Business School Netherlands.
